A floor tile has to survive everything the room throws at it and still look like the one you chose in the showroom.

What we stock

Our floor range is mostly porcelain, because it is dense, takes a knock and does not mind water. You will find marble and onyx effects, terrazzo, concrete and stone looks, and wood-effect planks for rooms where timber would be a bad idea but the look is still wanted.

Sizes run from 300x300 up to 1200x600. Large format means fewer grout lines and a calmer floor, but it needs a flatter substrate and a bigger cut allowance, so it is worth a conversation before you order. Smaller formats are more forgiving on an uneven base and easier to work around obstacles.

Finish matters as much as size. Polished porcelain looks superb and is genuinely slippery when wet, so it belongs in a hallway rather than a wet room. Matt and structured finishes give you grip. If the floor is going somewhere that gets wet, say so and we will steer you to the right one.

Fewer grout lines and a calmer floor, provided the substrate is flat enough to take it. We will tell you if yours is not.

Slip resistance that suits the room

Polished porcelain for hallways, matt and structured finishes anywhere that gets wet. The wrong one is a genuine hazard.

Enough of one batch held back that you are not finishing the last square metre in a visibly different shade.

What we stock, how much to order, and what goes underneath it.

What kinds of tile do you stock?

We carry four ranges: floor tile, wall tile, quarry tile and mosaic. Within those you will find everything from large-format polished porcelain at 1200x600 through to small mosaic sheets, in marble, stone, terrazzo, concrete and wood effects. If you are working to a particular look rather than a particular product, tell us the room and we will pull the options that fit.

Do you sell the adhesives and trims as well as the tile?

Yes. Our supplies range sits alongside the tile so the whole job gets specified in one go: adhesive matched to the substrate and tile format, grout in the colour you want, plus trims, spacers, levelling clips and sealers. Buying it together is the simplest way to avoid the usual mid-job trip for one missing tub.

How much tile should I order?

Measure the area, then add an allowance for cuts and breakages. Ten percent is the usual figure, and it is worth going to fifteen for diagonal layouts, herringbone, or rooms with a lot of obstacles. Tell us the room dimensions and the layout you have in mind and we will work the quantity out with you, because ordering short from a different batch rarely matches.

Do you deliver?

We do. Orders are picked and wrapped at our warehouse and delivered to your address or straight to site. Tile is heavy and awkward, so let us know at the point of ordering if access is tight, if there is no forklift at the other end, or if the pallet needs to go anywhere other than the kerb.

Do you offer trade or wholesale pricing?

Yes, through our wholesale purchasing programme. It is aimed at larger projects and at trade buyers ordering in volume, and pricing reflects the quantity involved. Get in touch with the dealership line or send us the project details and we will put a quote together.

Can I see the tile before I buy it?

Come to the showroom at 212 7th St SE, Washington, DC. We are open Monday to Friday, 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM. Seeing a tile at full size, in daylight, next to your worktop or cabinet sample tells you far more than a photograph, particularly with marble and stone effects where the veining varies from piece to piece.
